The Acoustic Guitar Project was created to inspire songwriters to make more music. 

Here's how it works:

1. We choose a city and a local musician and provide them with an acoustic guitar and hand held recorder.

2. That musician has one week to record an original song and record it live. No editing is allowed. They have to record it as many times as needed to get it just right.

3. When the musician is finished, they sign the guitar and pass it on to the next musician in that city. When that city’s guitar reaches 5 musicians, there is a concert and every musician plays the song they wrote for the project.



Shakib Jakir started his musical journey at a very young age. He grew up learning Indian classical music at the age of 4 playing harmony with his father. For years he played the bass, but his love for dark and heavy bass lines, and the melodic synth pads of house & techno drew him to produce his own electronic music. He learned music production from some of his very close and talented friends, but his unique sound and production style came so naturally that he has since then taken his own path. Now years into his passion, Shakib has released tracks on Nordic Voyage Recordings, BEKOOL, Canopy Sounds, Incepto Bundles, Absurd State, Inmost Records, Aeriform Records, and 3Bridge Records.

I have been bleeping n blooping for years. I am best known for my work in PEGASUS UNICORN, JARGONAUTS, and THE BYCICLE MONARCHS. 

Flo-Pilot is a DJ and music producer based in San Diego. He is known for taking the audience on a journey through a genre fluid experience filled with high energy dance vibes and nostalgic moments bringing the crowd to emotionally cathartic experiences on the dance floor. He loves working off of the energy of the crowd. As Co-Pilots on his journey, the crowd will soar to places unexpected by dancer and DJ alike. 



Flo-Pilot got his start in New York playing a variety of styles of music ranging from rock, metal, classical, jazz, funk, and more. And he allows all these influences to weave through his electronic music sets. 



He is DIY to the core and lives for the underground and has curated multiple underground party and festival experiences in his journey. Flo-Pilot aims to spread joy and break down barriers between humans and their inner child on the dance floor.

Keyboard player starting to explore song writing, singing, and other instruments. Enjoy collaborating with other musicians. Have lived and travelled all over, currently in Pittsburgh.
