After being a techno institution in Germany for more than 9 years now, the renowned Lehmann Club finally starts his own label called “Lehmann Musik“.
The label aswell as the Stuttgart based club represents a wide range of techno music. The philosophy of Lehmann Musik is to show a cross section of the Lehmann agency artists plus of course guests and friends of the club.
After one comes two. The 002 includes five originals from the techno icon Gayle San, Berlin´s „“dopest dj on planet“ Dj Emerson, Lehmann resident Raphael Dincsoy, the brothers from other mothers Zakari&Blange and the „ghost“ Ignøranz.

Get to know Jon Lee

-What inspired you to start making music in your beginnings as a music producer?

-My inspiration for learning how to produce came from wanting to have a deeper understanding of house and techno music culture, and to reach a larger audience on a global scale.  

Can you describe your first ever gig? What did you felt?

-My first ever gig was a truly enlightening experience. It felt amazing to play music outside the house for the first time. It gave me the motivation to really go out and promote myself in my local scene and beyond.

What has been the most difficult experience as a producer/dj? How did you overcome it?

-The most difficult experience as a dj and producer have definitely been overcoming self doubt, and fear of failure and rejection. 

What advice can you give to newcomers that want to be like you or to any other influential dj/producer?

-My advice to newcomers would be to treat everyone the way you would want to be treated, work hard, and always be true to yourself.  Everyone has their own path and timeline for their journey. For many it doesn't  happen overnight. Focus on what you are doing and stay in the moment as much as possible. Hard work and a love for what you are doing are your biggest strengths.

DJ List is a popular Russian DJ and an electronic musician. He is well known for his DJ sets special for their rich electronic sound which leave exquisite and charismatic aftertaste. DJ List is perhaps the most demanded person on Russian club scene. He is permanent resident of the most fashionable Moscow clubs.

He started to perform back in 1990-s. In 1993 he was one of the founders of Russian DJ culture. Using Vaishnava mantras and prayers in his sets, DJ List starts to stand out from other DJs and becomes very popular among connoisseurs of quality electronic music.

At the end of 2016 he decides to create his own label called “LISTOPAD” which produces interesting analog electronic sound compositions with the use of religious chants and mantras. “It’s well known that such music is timeless, it never loses its relevance and becomes more and more popular among people with absolutely different musical taste”.
