Originating from Bordeaux, ÅMRTÜM has significantly shaped his career during his five influential years in Berlin. This young French producer, now based in Basel, Switzerland, has traversed a diverse musical landscape, experimenting with genres such as trap, house, pop, dub, and reggae before discovering his unique sound. With a solid foundation as a sound engineer, ÅMRTÜM spent three years honing his expertise in sound design. His tenure at a renowned Berlin studio saw him collaborating with high-profile clients like Netflix, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon, further refining his technical skills and creative vision. ÅMRTÜM's creative process is deeply rooted in analog textures and live recording sessions, often spanning several hours with a variety of hardware. He prioritizes the authenticity of vocal recordings, frequently using his own voice to add a personal touch to his tracks. Embracing the core elements of techno, ÅMRTÜM's style transcends traditional boundaries. He describes his sound as "beyond techno," incorporating influences from rave, gabber, EBM, and the distinctive Berlin rumble.
