Satellite Era [SERA] is a Chicago-based record label and art collective that pairs forward-thinking audio with innovative visual design. Our intention is to aid in the progression of experimental electronic music by pushing boundaries in multiple mediums. We aim to provide an inclusive online shrine for artists to reach their fullest potential, and enthusiasts to tap into a more exploratory side of art consumption.

Satellite Trax [STRX] is an expansion of our core imprint that focuses on dance-centric music and its club roots; part of the foundation within our sonic heritage.

This project exists to research the topic of creative context within underground & experimental arts. Through the lens of creative-journalism, we explore the life-cycle of artists and their projects, in an otherwise undocumented space.

Igloo Magazine is an electronic music e’zine publishing articles about current, classic and upcoming music from around the globe. Our mission is to introduce readers to the burgeoning undergrowth of electronic musicians by covering a wide range of genre’s including ambient, experimental, dub, dubstep, shoegaze, electro, techno, drone, IDM, industrial, post-industrial, and all the debris in between. Pulling together a vast tapestry of like-minded contributors, the virtual Igloo doors officially opened December of 2000. We consistently seek to provide coverage for musicians creating left-of-center music that is not necessarily covered in general music media. Igloo Magazine publishes articles in the capacity of Newswires, Reviews, Features and Profiles for artists that wouldn’t normally receive the light of digital ink.
