Songs for My Grandmother Remixes is the latest in the ever-evolving musical adventures of Tuğçe Kurtiş. Produced in partnership with Tuğçe’s long time collaborator Santi (Santiago Ferreira), who is known for his novel arrangements of Balkan & Anatolian music  as well as rewriting Paraguayan folklore. With this new compilation, Tuğçe Kurtiş presents another take on her grandmother’s favorite songs through contributions by a wonderfully eclectic team of producers. The remix album begins with Acid Pauli’s enticingly atmospheric rendition of “Yıldızların Altında” (Underneath the Stars), followed by San Miguel’s characteristically heartful and soothing version. Álvaro Suárez then takes Yıldızların Altında decisively deep into the dancefloor with his sensual and hypnotic style, while Anatolian Sessions brings it home with the luring sounds of flute and kaval. The next track is the only remix of “Gözleri Aşka Gülen” (The One Whose Eyes Smile at Love) on the album where Alizarina fully embraces the song’s joyful spirit and creates moments of magic through his sublime clarinet lines. Then comes Rodrigo Gallardo who skillfully transports the Turkish vintage “Sevdan Olmasa” (Without Your Love) into the Andes through his folkloric flute and ritualistic vibe. Spy from Cairo presents yet another enchanting, idiosyncratically “Arabadub” rendition of this track with his delightful strings, deep baseline, and lush percussion. The album ends lavishly with an irresistibly groovy version of “Sevdan Olmasa” by Drumspyder who intricately weaves together hand percussion and electronic sounds into the finely sculpted grooves of the original track.

Released at the end of 2018, the first in Erdi Irmak's "Hidden Arcadia" showcased a quartet of sparkling original productions. As Proton Music returns to the series, "Hidden Arcadia, Vol. 2" combines a trio of new tracks with stunning remixes from German and Greek artists.

An artist with a strong tie to Proton Music saw July 2014's "You in Me" EP lighting a path for "Night" a year later, before "Hidden Arcadia" shot Erdi Irmak to global notoriety in 2018. Now continuing the successful series, "Falling down" immediately delights as a stripped-back beat and rich bass paves the way for a glissando lead line to wend its way across the mid-range. Glorious free-flowing piano phrases add further aural texture as a symphony of pads supply depth before an array of counterpoint phrases coalesce into a swirling whole. "Endless Way" provides a more upbeat offering with subtle intrigue in clave and woodblock percussion. A bouncing bass groove adds depth before melodic components gradually reveal themselves – a central trope holding true throughout while counterpoint motifs revel in a swathe of free-form, effected phrases that showcase Irmak's instrumentation skill. Providing a strong rhythmic framework with delicious rolling percussion, "Echoes in Time" is a work of a beauty as guitar and keys entwine in scintillating fashion to create a rich melodic groove. Pads and counterpoint phrases add to the sonic experience in an effervescent track that fizzes with vitality, emotion and a subtle melancholic intensity.

A talented multi-instrumentalist and music producer of global renown, Rauschhaus has found his music allied to some of the finest underground dance imprints that include Steyoyoke, Einmusika and Traum. October 2018's "Opal" saw a sparkling original debut on Proton Music as the German artist follows up on a rerub of Michael A with another remix for the label.
Holding its audio cues from "Vol. 1", the Rauschhaus remix takes "Owl" on a new flight of fantasy that explores original components while extending them with a plethora of additional production material. A new sustained analogue bassline gradually opens up in the second half, adding to the cadenced motif already in place and a rich arpeggio supplies a new hypnotic narrative. The result is an innovative remix with the beating heart of Erdi Irmak's "Owl".

Born in the US house music capital, Savvas' move from Chicago to Greece has seen him carve out an impressive career as DJ and producer. His music signed to such leading imprints as Anjunadeep, Nie Wider Schlafen and Motek Music, a trio of appearances on Particles including the beautiful "Mindfulness" on the "Winter 2019" compilation, now sees him join the Proton Music ranks. Disproving the adage that "Nothing Lasts", Savvas takes the track on an inspiring new journey. From its musical box opening, themes from the original resonate throughout as a strong beat and intricate percussive groove pave the way for elaborate layers of sound, sculpted from Irmak's work, create a new dynamic. Building with consummate ease, the vocal phrasing so central to the original creates a swirling new remix that elevates Savvas to elite producer.

Still in full view with a quintet of tracks, Rauschhaus and Savvas join Erdi Irmak in his "Hidden Arcadia".

The relative verb to "alight, to make one's appearance" is sometimes used to refer to any guru or revered human being. The word avatar does not appear in the Vedic literature, but appears in verb forms in post-Vedic literature, and as a noun particularly in the Puranic literature after the 6th century CE. Despite that, the concept of an avatar is compatible with the content of the Vedic literature like the Upanishads as it is symbolic imagery of the Saguna Brahman concept in the philosophy of Hinduism.

The native Thuringian, who moved to Hessen in 2002, has been co-organizer of Rise & Shine since May 2019. He has been playing for 10 years and has already completed several gigs as a DJ. With Ableton he started to produce but when he realized that this is not what he wants he spent days and nights with the music portal SoundCloud. He also got to know many creative artists, among others Rialex, with whom he founded Herz & Klang in 2015. Since then, it was only uphill. Together they put on bars and festivals. Their joint sets went through the ceiling. 6-digit plays followed. Together they maintain 2 big music blogs on SoundCloud that are populated monthly with sets of Dj's from all over the world. In 2017, as co-organizer of events in the Karlson and smaller clubs, Herz & Klang had found their way to Frankfurt nightlife. In 2018, DennyM began to work more on himself and landed on several corners at the afterhour. Since then as a social media creator and resident at Rise & Shine.

We're excited today! Our program for our family has been filled with gems. We start with a Pilates class at 12:00 before we move on to our Global Isolation Party part II. 

It has become a pure passion of ours to keep the spirits high and the family entertained.. 

To double up the excitement we chose to go online with a beautiful set once again created by Wild Dark. Their taste in music oozes through the different tracks and it again leaves us speechless and amazed.

"Tash’s Movement Recordings welcomes Fractal Architect back to the label for a new EP. Hailing from the UK, Daniel Watts aka Fractal Architect made his debut on the Greek imprint in August of last year. Backed by remixes from JOBE and Mashk, the ‘Hideaway’ EP was well received, making for a hugely memorable first appearance on the Greek imprint. Also calling Dear Deer, ICONYC and Steyoyoke home, Fractal Architect now lands back on Movement with ‘Not Going Back’.

Spread across three tracks it’s the progressive techno sounds of the title selection which get the EP underway. Dark and mysterious from the outset it’s punchy low end and rippling rhythms provide momentous drive, while wispy effects and haunting atmospheres fill in the framework. A lively arp adds further bounce to the groove, before a short but timely break resets the narrative for an emotive finale.

The second selection ‘Solitude’ surveys a similar design profile but with a further lean into melodic techno territory. Beginning with a stripped yet punchy groove, the piece evolves with emerging arps and detailed percussion carrying into the main break. Wispy effects and poignant fragments make for a heartfelt interlude, before smoothly segueing into a heavenly final movement.

The third and final original ‘Any Other Day’ finds Fractal Architect flexing the electronica side of his studio repertoire. Smooth, elegant and a touch melancholic, it’s an incredibly charming six-minute journey. Broken beats provide the foundation, while cascading tones marry hazy swells and unique artefacts, before elegantly peaking and getting washed away in a trail of exquisite sonics. It rounds out an inspired collection of music from Fractal Architect, making for an excellent return to Movement Recordings.

"Coming from the beyond, It is time for the second volume of our summer compilation that convey maturity and intimacy with having a couple of new names on board including Carlo Whale, Deckert, and Arash Shadram. This year we provide 4 fresh cuts that will refresh your summer and help you forget about the global crisis we face today. 

Kicking off with Guzy, a dear friend of the family. He invites Deckert for a well thought through collaboration 'Unter Tage' refers to the age of pre modern industrialism, fusing a stoic machine driven vibe with dark organic patterns created by electronic guitars. The soundscape resonates perfectly with the concrete foundation of the Berlin club scene, adopted home to both producers.

Following up we welcome The Italian distinguished sound of Carlo Whale to the family. Carlo's track 'Midnight Chances' conveys an eclectic sound that is layered with sensual vocals and congruent melodies that merge into an emphatic symphony that represents Carlo's euphoric sound.

Arash Shadram, one of the scene's upcoming sounds and personalities delivers 'One Seconds'. A track that enjoys a driving bassline and congruent symphonies that morphs into a modern soundscape that will rock any dance floor. The track enjoys a sense of surrealism and a warm atmosphere.

Last but not least we invite the rising sound of Renga Weh, the German young talent provides a deep production that represents his style. The track stands out with a set of synths and playful percussions that layer into a crescendo sound waves"

Represents a new beginning in the harmonious universe of experimental sound in electronic music, transmitting emotion and especially the experiences of every moment in life.
This project came to life because of the desire to express the music in another way and to convey it to another level with a much more spiritual story than the old project.

Over time, the emotion received had a massive impact on defining the current musical style. but the most important thing in this journal is to convey the old feelings put into a flowing core.
This road wants to carry on the feeling and the empathy through the only way you can communicate and through which you can manifest yourself without limits. each of us has his own way, which he chooses in an unknown end.
