Already reminds me of a more funk-influenced Alice In Chains, but where instead of Layne and Jerry singing at the same time, they took turns.  The synth sounds go very well with the music, love the phaser noise.  Definitely reminiscent of something 90's, but that's not to say it definitely is a modern take on a 90's feel.
