Tragic tales of misery and woe to cancerously catchy melodies. My guitar Johnny has written on it a play on the classic Woody Guthrie line, saying "this machine thrills masochist." My intentions were to warn listeners that my songs were for people who get off on pain. 

I used to go by "white trash folk," which I also claimed to be my genre. Then community standards on social media got strict and I couldn't use those words online anymore without being banned. I play a dirty mixture of something like folk and folk punk.
