I first began recording this while we were waiting for word from the Titan sub.  As news evolved, I continued working on The Underworld.

This piece is sculptured with envelope followers from tube and bucket brigade noise and vactrols. It is a multi track recoding of a eurorack and bass flute performance. Thank to Jo Nauversen for constructive feedback.

The collider beeped again and another window appeared; now looking upon a new version of himself, but in this world, the experiment had failed. With each beep, another window appeared, each time revealing further, more extreme divergences and with each new world the windows grew in size."

Very little wind, -5 °C. Many ice crystals in the water smoothen the surface. Small waves run into the shore. A low-frequency rumble (fighter jets) creates an unpleasant feeling. 
Distant calls of whooper swans ("Zogen einst fünf wilde Schwäne").
MS-stereo with Rycote HC-22 and self-made figure of 8 mic recorded into MixPre 6II.
