This set was created to celebrate the release of the ROB BONG remix of S.O.N.A.T.I.O.N.'s Eastern Edge. Rob Bong is the solo project of Rob Henry (Children of the Bong/Euphonic). Influenced by the changes in electronic music over the last 30 years, bass funk, psydub and acidic electro all make special appearances in various guises.

Esoteric Festival Chill Island Thursday Sunset 2025

While I was playing we all got the unfortunate news of the Cancelation of Esoteric 2025.  So shattering But we made the most of what we could and I was fortunate to be able to continue playing to the crew onsite.  Due to this I played an extended set than my original set time allocation.  This was going to be an exciting set for me as Sunset Is a set I have always wanted to play at the Chill Island, and this year I got it. Its Not what I had originally planned to play but due to the news I switched it up as I went to Create a vibe that was a reflection of how we were all feeling. So please enjoy the music I selected for this very emotional set. I grabbed some older tunes that I had previously played to close out my set. Hope you can feel the vibe that I tried to create due to the heart breaking news of the cancelation.  We love Esoteric

This is the second unexpected/improvised set I jumped in for when there was a hiccup with an artist getting caught in traffic.  I'll post the first one sometime soon. A few months back, there was a most wonderfully magical gathering to celebrate a dear friend's 50th cycle of the sun.

I was privileged enough to be able to play for many hours on the last day, Sunday, from late afternoon into the night. Prior to this, a request had made for electro schwing so I started scouring for fresh wobblas and naughty beats and was suitably blown away. 

Here's the first couple of hours that fit roughly in that genre before I started getting deeper and naughtier in pt.2 as the light faded.
