A recurring theme found in the lyrics of Gugak (국악) or traditional Korean music concerns long, often torturous journeys home or away from home in hopes to be reunited with lost loved ones. The nature of this journey can either be physical or spiritual. One could be on their way to their physical home, or one might have to create a sense of home in a new place, or one might even have to leave their physical homes to be reunited with loved ones in the next life. The three of wands is a minor arcana card, symbolizing one's resolve to head out into the unknown on a journey, sometimes associated with love. The figure of the three of wands stands upon a hill, looking out into the vast open sea before him, and one can almost feel the breeze in his face. "High Wind" or "Northeast Wind" is the Korean title of this track, and it is the wind that allows the sailor to sail. The title was originally used by the shaman Kim Seok Chul (김석출) as the title for the album of his 1993 recordings.
