A while ago, I released my instrumental track inspired by the Netflix series Love, Death & Robots, especially the Sonnie’s Edge episode.
That energy stayed with me all this time.
And in the last few months, I gathered creators, fans, and artists who love this universe as much as I do, to build something completely different:
a musical work that explores identity, rage, inner conflict, and transformation.

“Sonnie’s Edge // Versus – The War Within Suite”
is an album where each version of the track represents an emotional and sonic confrontation.
Each track is a Versus.
Each artist brings a new interpretation.
Each style becomes a different battle.

This album includes seven complete reinterpretations of “Sonnie’s Edge,” created in collaboration with fictional artists who symbolize different musical personalities:

AEVA&KRY – melodic and futuristic electronic
LEGION – aggressive electronic metal
RE4KTOR – glitch synth and digital chaos
Liss Vi – K-pop with retro 80’s aesthetics
Saiken – darkwave and introspective atmosphere
Vyra – emotive futuristic pop
Yuren Qer – melodic rap with sci-fi sensibility

These “artists” are not remixes.
They are representations of styles, emotions, and sounds that form part of the same inner war.
Each one reinterpreted what they felt when watching Sonnie’s Edge in Love, Death & Robots, transforming the track into a completely different experience.

This project blends electronic music, K-pop, metal, rock, futuristic pop, energetic rap, and dark glitch synth.
Seven worlds.
Seven styles.
Seven battles.
One story connecting them all: the struggle to control your own power.

What I’m showing you today is only the first spark.

Ziar Lirus es el seudónimo artístico de Iván Knoska, compositor, productor y artista multidisciplinario de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Activo desde 2012, es reconocido por su estilo distintivo dentro de la música electrónica, fusionando EDM, House, Electro, Trance, Progressive y K-pop con una estética cyberpunk futurista.

Trayectoria
Ziar Lirus inició su carrera en 2012, explorando sonidos sintéticos y estructuras melódicas propias del EDM y progressive house. Su propuesta fue evolucionando hacia una identidad más conceptual, sumando influencias del cine futurista, la animación y el universo cyberpunk, tanto en lo musical como en lo visual.

Ziar no solo se define por su música, sino también por construir un universo conceptual. Su personaje es un ser alienígena de un planeta cercano a Betelgeuse, que llega a la Tierra atraído por frecuencias similares a las de su mundo. Se presenta ante la humanidad desde la Luna, usando su música como puente.

Hey y'all, my name is Diem (he/they), and I'm a hard-working artist who is simply trying their best. Texas born and raised, I have loved music for as long as I could remember, and I got my first keyboard when I was five years old. After years of piano lessons and a couple of long summers in high school marching band, I began writing contemporary orchestral compositions. However, when I went to university, I found my way to songwriting to try to find a way to myself. By combining my passions for music and writing — as well as my love of synthpop, alternative music, and trap — I aim to illuminate the harmony within dissonance and the similarities within opposites through both my music and my lyrics. 

Inspired by other creators dedicated to their craft — including BTS, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, TXT, and a multitude of 1980s artists — I write, record, produce, and release my own music, and have already released a full length album, A Message for You in order to communicate messages of strength and comfort during a very trying time. I've also released four singles — Black and White (2023 Version), You and I, Revel, and Once Upon a Time — along with a short EP.
