DJ Max Hebert started his musical journey as a young vinyl junkie at the age of 14, constantly squatting record shops from Montreal to New-York city for rare vinyl collectibles and diversified stlyles of music such as House, Disco, Techno, Funk, Hip-Hop and Break Beats.

His passion for House Music, intimately connected him with the vitality of Montreal’s underground scene since the early nineties, all by contributing thru out the years to the success of legendary local venues, such as Playground, Sona and of course, world famous Stereo after-hours where he got his first ever professional gig at a Defmix party, handed to him personaly by non-else than Grammy Award winner, Mr. David Morales. From there, building his own following, he co-presented the monthly Move events, featuring resident DJs such as Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, DJ Heather to name a few.

His distinct way of fast paste mixing and capability of blending-in the West Coast Deep House sound into Chicago’s Funk and Jazzy influences, combined to his 20 years of experience, makes this turntablist a definite sure shot when it comes down to dance floor destruction. Often traveling and spreading the love between major cities on the Canadian East coast since the early nineties, his magic also brought him to the UK performing in cities such as London, Manchester and Edinburgh.

Attracting world wide attention since 2008 by hitting the American and European charts with the releases of the “Jazz 4 Dope” and “Swing Daddy” EPs, featuring original tracks such “Just Friends” and “Jitterbug”, Max Hebert and studio partner Cenzo keep piling-up the musical projects ever since, while getting support from All-Star players such as Mark Farina, who has lately cropped two of their latest releases “Records Drop” and “Breeze” in order to be added on the Great Lakes Audio Podcast track listing, witch features the latest and most exclusive tracks by the world’s most talented producers on a monthly basis.

Deejay/producer, Chicago House purist, JR From Dallas draws his influences from jackin, deep and tech-house, but keeping that 90's house oldschool beat.

In 2007, he launches his label GOURMAND MUSIC RECORDINGS signing essentially american artists but also european talents. Gourmand's roster includes Giano, Cubase Dan, Tommy Largo, Bart Ricardo, Masss and Dave Dubbz just to name a few.

In 2011, Phil Weeks discovers him and signs him to Robsoul Recordings where he released a successful EP. That same year, JR From Dallas entered the family of the legendary american label TANGO RECORDINGS

Darius is a self proclaimed "House Addict". He fell in love with the house sound as a teenager living in Montreal back in the early '90s when he would stay up late on Friday nights and record a dance mix show on Montreal radio. He was hooked from then on. He then proceeded to start mixing with one tape deck and a cassette player and never looked back. When he moved to Vancouver in the late '90's, he started buying records almost daily and spent most of his free time at his favourite record stores at the time, Bassix and Mekanix records. Over the next few years, Darius held various residencies and even ran 2 club nights in Vancouver, playing alongside such talent as Lawnchair Generals and Johnny Fiasco, as well as playing at numerous after hours and raves. Today, Darius is happily married with a young son, but his love for house music hasn't died. He is still busy putting out mixes and in 2015 is doing some exclusive guest mixes for International house collectives such as Little Routine in France, and Reason2Funk in England. His sets have been described as "organic" and his love for jazz is prevalent in all of his mixes.

A Chicago transplant in the Wild West, Dee-Jay Shuga is a lover of all things house, whose sound is primarily comprised of good driving basslines, smooth vocal samples and a warm techy feel.

Shuga's passion for music started in childhood, a child of two young music-loving parents with large and eclectic record collections. She was always obsessed with rhythm and dancing and that love eventually moved her towards playing instruments. She studied classical music and composition and won medals for her classical flute performances. Although she gave up playing in her teen years, her love for music manifested itself in different forms. It was in those years she discovered house music and she fell in love. 

In 2001, she married her husband who was a long-time dj himself, and they used their wedding money to buy a brand new pair of Technics. After the birth of their first child later that year, she tried her hand at playing and has been at it ever since. 

She is grateful to have shared decks and line-ups with some of the biggest names in house music today and is lucky enough to call most of them friends. She has played everywhere from house & loft parties to outdoor events, radio shows, clothing stores, and bars and clubs in Chicago such as Smartbar,and held a residency with other female djs at Lava Lounge.

Shuga continues to play today, recording mixes, doing guest appearances on radio and internet shows in the US, Canada, and the UK, and throws small events with her husband, Hedspin, under the name Eternal Rhythms. Starting in June 2016, they will begin a monthly residency called Sunday Sessions on Sugar Shack Recordings every 3rd Sunday of the month, 12-2pm CDT/11a-1p MDT at www.sugarshackrecordings.com

A Chicago transplant in the Wild West, Dee-Jay Shuga is a lover of all things house. She was always obsessed with rhythm and dancing, and that love eventually moved her toward playing instruments. Although she gave up playing by high school, her love of music manifested itself in different forms, and in the early 90s, she discovered house music.

In 2001, Shuga married her husband, Hedspin, who was a long-time dj himself, and they used their wedding money to buy a brand new pair of Technics. By the end of the year, with a romanticized notion of playing together as a husband-and-wife team, she began to try her hand at mixing. Her approach to learning how to dj was the same as it was when she learned to play the flute: obsessive. Too embarrassed to play in front of her husband, she would mix in their basement while he was at work or out for the day, recording on a tape deck and listening to the mixes over and over again to figure out how to do better . She went from a couple minutes of clean mixing per tape to handing out her first mix CD within a year. Over time, after years of playing wide-ranging house genres and techno, she developed her own mixing style and found her signature sound: good, driving basslines, smooth vocal samples and a warm, techy feel.

In the years since she started playing, Shuga has been grateful to have shared decks and line-ups with some of the biggest names in house music. She has played everywhere from house & loft parties to outdoor events, clothing stores, bars & clubs in and around the Midwest and Chicago, including Smartbar and Zentra, and held a residency with other female djs at Lava Lounge. Recently, she has had guest mixes air on the radio in the UK, on record labels out of the US and Mexico, and on internet radio shows in the US and Canada, with a current monthly residency on Sugar Shack Radio. She has also started handling marketing and A & R for Chicago house label Orange Earth Music and will soon begin the long process of learning the art and skill of music production.

In 1997 an opportunity came up to play the music that best suited djadamt taste .. Sharkcity in midtown Toronto, a high end bar/resturant club. For nearly 3 year residency playing a wide range of House,Trance and some Techno and was featured by notable.com for Thursday nights we miss "back in the day". Currently playing at 2 downtown intimate Bar/lounge type venues Eastthirtysix and Boutique Bar. influences include Paul Oakenfold, Carl cox, Todd Terry, Adam Beyer,John Digweed, Solomun,Max Graham,Amand van Helden.
