Deejay/producer, Chicago House purist, JR From Dallas draws his influences from jackin, deep and tech-house, but keeping that 90's house oldschool beat.

His tracks have been played by the finest's underground house djs such as Mark Farina, Phil Weeks, Hector Moralez, 1200 Warriors, Nick Holder, Roger Sanchez …

In 2007, he launches his label GOURMAND MUSIC RECORDINGS signing essentially american artists but also european talents. Gourmand's roster includes Giano, Cubase Dan, Tommy Largo, Bart Ricardo, Masss and Dave Dubbz just to name a few.

In 2011, Phil Weeks discovers him and signs him to Robsoul Recordings where he released a successful EP. That same year, JR From Dallas entered the family of the legendary american label Tango Recordings

JR From Dallas is now an established artist known for his unique Jackin sound. You can also find JR's music on Farris Wheel Recordings, Greenhouse Recordings, Maracuja Recordings, Phobic Recordings, Funkfield Recordings, Kolour Recordings…

BIOGRAPHY 
JR From Dallas was born in 1981 in Tourcoing (France). At the age of 17 years, the passion for 
music at the time the results to the unique sound came from San Francisco and Chicago: The 
"California House" and the "Chicago House Underground". The DJing soon became a passion 
and often leads to play in the bars of Tournai (Doornik). In 2000, he met with MC Adrian (Radio FG - Studio 54 NYC), 
a legendary Mc work for older children: St. Germain, Bob Sainclar Greg Dimano ... ... 
This meeting Jr From Dallas confirms these choices, and pushed into production in 2004. 
Since 2006, he released his first EP under the label of Vynil Fred Hush (H2O resident), 
then numbers of U.S. and UK label. At this same period he found his "own sound", 
The Funky Jackin House, by which it is noticed by most of house underground, such as: Mark Farina, 
DJ Mes, 1200 Warriors, Nick Holder, Roger Sanchez., Gene Farris, Stacy Kidd,... 
These are the release many travels throughout Europe: Holland, Belgium, Republic 
Czeck, Poland, Germany, England .... In 2007, he launched his first label, 
Gourmand Music Recordings, where he signed artists variety of demonstrated ability, 
now references the underground house scene. 2010, JR From Dallas released his 
first album after 10 years of passion for house music. Many guest and friends participate in this event and come 
support this new action northerner producer: MC Adrian, Ladybird, Kenyon, Dave Combined...
