Sophe by Mannix gets a remix from  Addvibe, titled a  Deepfro remix but beyond the title  I can say It opens up the senses with fantastic atmosphere and instrument choice building all the way through to just over the 4 min mark before you can catch your breath.
Then it's not for long as the next ride is the elevator into acid town and there's no going back.
A stunning realization of House music.

Platzdasch & Dix Remix of The Trumpet by Mannix is a low slung heavy weighted affair of the heart.I come over all melancholy and find myself drifting off on an eyes-closed trip somewhere joyous.
Clocking in at just over nine minutes this is reminiscent of House of an age when it as pretty pure.
By 6 mins I am still just locked in carried away and the following three minutes disappear in bliss.

Ralph Session - Check It Out [Half Assed Records]

Ralph Session is a young DJ and Producer from NYC with a signature sound. He’s the label owner of Half Assed Records and he is keeping the momentum going this year with a killer four-tracker called ‘It’s A Love Thang ’. 

Fans include Kai Alce, Danny Krivit, Laurent Garnier and Domenic Cappello.

Showcasing various shades of house music with four very distinct tracks.  Three of them are solo and there’s a hot collaboration with New York’s DJ Romain.   A set of productions that reflects Ralphs’ love for a genre that has many sides to it, each track embodies a different style for a different time of the night.  Drawing on the musical heritage of US House and hip hop, the four tracks have it all!

There’s the warm-up groove of ‘Check It Out’ and the peak-time rush you’ll feel with ‘Dope’.  That 3 am head down deep house on ‘It’s Alright’ and the blissful sunrise-soundtrack collaboration with DJ Romain ‘Feel The Music’. Three cuts were recorded in Barcelona, while ‘Feel The Music’ was produced at Romain’s Crown Heights studio in Brooklyn. The EP has been mastered for maximum dance floor impact by Ruben “GarcyNoise” Garcia.

This EP is a useful set of tools for the DJ as each track elicits a different emotional response, celebrating many musical moods. ‘It’s A Love Thang ’ is house music to the core.
