This track is made by me as part of "KLOUT" project. We are: Arum Dayu, Hannah Ekin, and Ayash (me). KLOUT is a fictional music group for "See The Grid, Feel The Gig" (an experimental performance project initiated by my friend, Arum Dayu, as one of the artist in residence at Cemeti - Institute for Art and Society). She is interested in observing and making various experiments about the relation between human and gadgets that already embedded in our everyday lives. This cheesy and amateurish track made in 2018 as part of my installation works for an exhibition at Lorong Gallery, alongside with my other works (video, drawings, and interactive questionnaire). 
Here also I recorded my own voice in such a randomly way of thinking.

Overall, I talked about witchcraft, but I only took the witchcraft term as a way or method of thinking. Witchcraft known as a practice and belief in magical skills and abilities performed by the practitioners who usually living in a solitary way, to respond to their desired condition. The concept of witchcraft and the belief of its existence have been around for a long time, the perspective is increasingly diverse depending on the culture, religion, primitive, or modern cultures.

And the practice of witchcraft is very diverse. The most common we know, one of the practice is fortune-telling activity using tarot as one of the medium. In my country (Indonesia), it can be exemplified as a shaman with specific objects such as incense, flowers, etc. Whereas in modern times, I see all of us actually also have their own ways that work the same way with witchcraft logical thinking, for example pharmacists who work in the pharmaceutical field, or a very personal or everyday level such as painting, writing, cooking. So, even we have our own witchcraft as personal healing.

Well, in this day I imagine that what they often do is also have the same as the witchcraft logic. Although humans are social creatures, they have their personal solitary moments of unconscious life-activities as a therapy or personal healing to break down a separate system (a system that can be about feelings, thoughts, responses, reflexes, that originating from the outside, but only ourselves that can overcome it with certain methods). And usually our habits might considered strange or uncommon (same as Witchcraft practice). In fact, everyone has explored their own insanity to find their sanity.
