Trois, Deux, Un – le troisième album – un peu comme l’autre côté du miroir, a été fabriqué dans le nouveau monde : le monde d’après le monde d’avant. Juniore avec un air farceur annonçait déjà « La Fin de la fin du monde » en 2013 à la sortie de ses premiers morceaux. Dix ans plus tard, en 2023, un nouvel album voit le jour dans le laboratoire tenu secret de Samy Osta, quelque part dans les catacombes de Paris. Cet album raconte encore inéluctablement au féminin, des histoires graves, des contes d’ambivalence et de maternité, de rupture et d’amour fou, de doute dans cet indéfinissable monde d’après. Et aussi des histoires légères, en négatif, prêtes à être développées – qui racontent la mer, les filles seins nus sur la plage, l’horizon, l’amour du bowling, du silence. Toujours dans le même élan infatigable, Juniore balance des mélodies aux voix aigres-douces, des rythmes aux roulements improbables et aux percussions explosives, aux riffs déjantés, agrémentés d’irrésistibles orgues et de guitares acoustiques et électriques élastiques.

We're delighted to announce the signing of Brandon Can’t Dance, a self-recorded and produced project from Philadelphia native Brandon Ayres. Brandon Can’t Dance has self-released several albums worth of material online before being picked up by ourselves. Today we unveil ‘17’, the lead track from the ‘LXVE’ EP, a six track collection of newly remastered Brandon Can’t Dance songs, that you can download on Bandcamp now: https://luckynumber.bandcamp.com/album/lxve-ep

‘LXVE’ EP collates an engaging snapshot of his DIY creations to-date. Entirely self-recorded and produced, Brandon's music is unique and diverse, whilst hinting at a songwriting lineage absorbed through the sombre tones of Elliott Smith, the odd-ball electronics of John Maus, 90s Sub Pop inflected grunge and The Idiot-era Iggy Pop.

A reticent cult figure in Philly's local DIY scene, Brandon Can’t Dance has shared stages playing alongside the likes of Eskimeaux, LVL UP and Alex G. It was Alex G who recommended Brandon’s music to us and the pair head out on tour together in the US this November.
