Runaway (Live at The Metro Theatre)

Having fun with the Outer Wilds theme. This is probably my favourite game of all time and the soundtrack is amazing. 

Also loved doing this purely on my phone, using an Apogee Jam+ to record my guitar straight into GarageBand.

Transition To Colour

Winter

I rediscovered this song recently and something really connected with me. Jimmy Nail's hauntingly authentic rendition and the themes of loneliness, pain and moving on, all spoke to me as I deal with the grief of losing my wife last year. 

I found myself first singing it on my guitar, then recording it on my phone, and eventually on the computer. Each time I sung it I felt I was singing it to, or for, her. She always supported my music and I hope I have done her justice with this recording.

Evangelist

Little Moaner first joined the London blues community as a dancer, but after spending too many dances singing along, someone finally decided to put her on stage...and then she just kept coming back. 

Learning that her little boombox was never going to drown out the sound of her dad's custom-built speakers, Little Moaner had little choice but to grow up on a steady diet of BB King, Cream and the Rolling Stones (amongst others), in a house where The Commitments was required viewing. These days she also loves to listen to Grace Potter, Joan Osborne, Nina Simone and other ladies who rock.

Leaving much of the traditional blues songs to the guys who (quite frankly) play it better, she loves to play you music that is both familiar and yet unexpected. Mostly though, Little Moaner just wants to make you dance
