I’ve seen things lately that cannot be unseen, and the weight of it has left me silenced. There is a certain grief in knowing a truth you have no power to fix. They say truth sets you free; right now, it feels like a loss of innocence.

Before SoundCloud, my home was a platform called Loudly. That space holds my entire history, 111 tracks created over 9 and a half years. During my active years there, I became well known within that community. Many of my most popular tracks reached numbers far beyond what I’ve achieved so far on SoundCloud, some with over six times more likes and plays. Juggernaut 2.0 was one of those moments. It trended at number one for days, became one of my most played and most loved tracks, and it has always been one of my wife’s favorites among everything I’ve created.

I took a hiatus. When I returned, the platform was no longer the same. The energy had faded, the community was quieter. Today, it lives on as a personal archive, a place where I can witness who I was, who I am, and who I am becoming.

I originally started uploading to SoundCloud simply to have another place for my music. Over time, it became clear this is my new home. It feels like a true beginning again.

Last night, I dreamed I was creating music. The track was called Juggernaut III. Juggernaut 2.0 is so old that I don’t even have the project anymore. That tells me this isn’t about recreating the past. I’m going back to my roots. The first track that carried me into the trends back then will be the one I reshape now, from the ground up.
