The Music Program at LIU Brooklyn currently offers three degree programs: a BFA in Jazz Studies, a BA in Music Performance and Theory, and a BS in Music Education in Urban Schools.

We are located in Downtown Brooklyn, just minutes away from Manhattan, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Barclays Center. We are one of the most diverse campuses and communities in the country. Our eleven acre, park-like setting is a self-contained community that provides a real college experience for our residential and commuter students. One subway stop away from Manhattan and located in one of the most culturally rich neighborhoods of Brooklyn, students have access to the arts, galleries, museum, historic attractions, and music venues throughout the New York City area.
