Steinway artist, Chad Lawson, decided Chopin needed a new introduction. Along with violinist Judy Kang (Lady Gaga, Ryuichi Sakamoto) and cellist Rubin Kodheli (Kanye West, Norah Jones), Lawson has arranged ten Chopin works into a minimalist landscape.

It's a risk editing the "poet of the piano" but one that Chopin would be proud of.

Taking 10 Chopin works, Lawson decided to scale the works down to a minimalist setting. "I knew even if bare-bones, Chopin's works could still be as spellbinding as the original compositions we are so familiar with." says the pianist.

Produced by Chad Lawson & Alejandro Clavijo. Mixed by Stephen Lee Price. Mastered by Michael Graves of Osiris Studios (Atlanta, GA).

W&W vs The Lengend of Zelda feat. Linkin Park - Rave Of Ocarina (VONIK Mashup)[Free Download]

Chico Mann, the self-proclaimed time travelling producer and multi-instrumentalist, is singlehandedly bridging the 30-something-yearlong gap between afrobeat and electronic music. His newest release marks his fourth outing on Soundway Records, the British label specialising in reissues of obscure afro-jazz, afro-funk and Latin originals.

"Nobody Wants To" is a chunky slab of spacey shimmering synth work with a hip-hop heart throbbing at its core. Supplying beautiful vocals is Kendra Morris, who explains that the track is about "trying to fill the void, and then being too stubborn to let go. (...) It feels good for a while, but then it kinda bottoms out."

"Nobody Wants To" and its instrumental version drop on 7" vinyl and digital formats on 20th May via Soundway. That same night, Soundway are throwing a party at London's Village Underground. Come one, come all.

So this is probably the most diverse track I have put on the channel... yet... JEDM is something that I really love and having a huge history of playing tons of video games, I really connected with this track. It reminds me a bit of Porter Robinson but it is completely original. Anyways I hope you all enjoy! :)
