Kicking off 2022, we are happy to announce the debut EP from italian producer & DJ Uabos. Known from his releases on Pordello A Parigi or Toytonics, Matteo Andrea Pepe (aka Uabos) delivers a stunning 3 track EP with the title „Soul On Soul“.
The EP starts impulsive, straight forward and with a catchy hook. ’Soul On Soul’ builds a bridge between Italo- Disco & modern Indie Dance. „It is a mystical trip between two lovers. It is the union of two souls, joined in a past life and now reunited. It is a circle that closes, Matteo claims.
Continuing with a travel back in time, ’M&P Frontier' is a mixture 90’s House & Rave, flavored with a splash of Euro Dance. Fittingly Uabos describes: The track goes back to my origins. It's journey throughout my life since I met electronic music... just in a new version.
Closing the EP with another top tune, that could easily also be the A-Side of this package, 'Illusion' sails mood wise in more happy waters. Though it might be less impulsive, it isn’t less catchy than the previous tunes. „Illusions are the specters that live in each of us. They are the distorted existences that we impose on ourselves. It is their frequency that makes us wake up and understand true reality.“, Uabos explains about the idea behind it.
'Illusion' is a trip between trance and Italo- Disco, another fresh tune to heat up the dance floor.

The 78th reference of the label comes from our partner Azaria and our Brazilian colleague Hoochie Coochie Papa, who join forces to present "Aventador ep".

An ep with an acidic character for and up of bpm to half time between chuggin and slow, these rhythms will introduce you in a direct trance, commemorating that the sun and the summer months are already here, these two guys of the waves, elevate the rave sound to the next level, two powerful energetic cuts and in acid key elaborated from Madrid & Brazil, what a combination.

Welcome to another fine episode of SIRS aka »Sounds in real Stereo«! After last years' arrival on LARJ with his »Arrived EP«, Berlin based versatile DJ & producer Daniel Klein is back with »Travel To HDF.Y3D« - an utopian (or more likely dystopian) ode to space travel:

The last few remaining humans are traveling with 133bpm to the most distant galaxy in the universe on a mission to seek out a new space for mankind to live after many years of exploiting good old Mother Earth. What sounds like a horror scenario if you start thinking about it, SIRS manages to wrap up in quite a positive musical message. Thus »Travel To HDF.Y3D« becomes that hopeful uplifting slightly dreamy tune we all need these days - not unlike Christian Bruhn's theme of a certain Captain called Future back in 1980 …

It's also nice to have two more versions of such a strong tune at hand: The first one is a true first one for »Cocktail D'Amore« DJ BUDINO as she comes up with her first remix and production work ever. Budino's approach is a slightly darker, maybe indeed more dystopian one. The synthesizer bass lines dominate her remix and by getting rid of the original's playful melody she creates a very special melancholic feel. 

Leipzig based PANTHERA KRAUSE's take isn't quite that different from Budino's as he too focuses on the darker vibes of this journey in space. It's his added extra dose of punch that surely will keep dancers on the floor for sure.

The former »Space Ibiza« resident SIRS now takes over the controls again with »Summer Desire« which too is destined to rule dancefloors not only in Ibiza but all over the world with its lovely airy vibe.

»Travel To HDF.Y3D« returns for one last time in form of the spoken word prolog - a nice extra tool to play with.

Vienna-based producer Jorkes has been making a name for herself through her carefully curated queer-focused label, Freeride Millenium, and long-standing residency on Munich's Radio 80000. Jorkes' productions mirror her approach to DJing: they're a sultry mix of disco, cosmic house and synth-soaked sounds that embody a sense of sexual freedom that Jorkes has always connected with the dance. Live at Robert Johnson is the next home for their creations: a four-track EP titled 'Sweet Dreams' which represents another deep dive into cosmic grooves and deep, disco-tinged house.

NIKKNAME returns to Freeride Millenium for a new EP with remixes from Benjamin Fröhlich and Mufti, and artwork from Daniel Rajcsanyi.
NIKKNAME is a Austrian based producer who has appeared on this label's IMPACT compilation as well as releasing on Ombra International, Traum Schallplatten and Mangali. He is very much at the heart of the scene in Vienna and puts his musical talents on display once again here.
His opener, 'Bankai' is a rugged and muscular disco cut. The strident drums march into the future as cosmic waves and corrugated basslines flesh out the most steamy and propulsive groove. 'Ume' then brings even more brightness with loopy synth arps spiraling up to the heavens as synth bass and slapping drums make for a glamorous disco sound. A spine-tingling breakdown allows the synth work to shine before taking off once more. There are plenty of layers to the sleek and seductive 'Onira Tasaki', from the shiny bell melodies to the chunky drum funk and shimmering chords. It's another sensuous disco sound designed to bring both emotion and power to the dance floor.
First to remix is Benjamin Fröhlich, Permanent Vacation Records co-founder and another friend of Freeride Millenium who released on IMPACT. His Rave version of 'Ume' is just that - six minutes of colourful, freewheeling house with old-school chord stabs, jostling breakbeats and an overflow of euphoric emotion.
Last to remix is Mufti, a Mexican producer and contemporary disco tastemaker known for his work on Her Majesty's Ship. He zones out with far-sighted chords and a deep bassline that suspends you in mid-air, gazing at the cosmic keys and lost in a dreamy groove.
This is characterful disco from the ever-excellent Freeride Millenium.
