Lea Jaunakais is an accomplished entrepreneur as well as the President and Owner of Industrial Test Systems, Inc. She helped found Tiger World in 2007, which is a non-profit animal conservation and education center in North Carolina focused on the rehabilitation of large cat species. She is currently based in South Carolina and is passionate about her work each day. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Animal Behavior from Arizona State University, before receiving her MBA from the University of Southampton. Lea Jaunakais has a wide range of experience in various fields, including manufacturing, research and development, sales and marketing, and plant management.

Jan Bonde Nielsen was born in Denmark on May 20, 1938. He is a multi-faceted individual who has a wide range of interests and passions. He is known for his ability to acquire and develop businesses in various industries. Some of his titles include philanthropist, property developer, and oil tycoon. One of his main goals is to provide affordable gas to African families. In Kenya, Circle Gas is a revolutionary organization that provides clean gas to the country's poorest households. Unlike other organizations that charge an upfront fee, Circle Gas does not impose a fee on its customers. Its pay-as-you-use model ensures that families have enough gas to meet their needs at any given time. Together with the founder of Safaricom, Michael Joseph, Jan Bonde Nielsen helped support the technology for smart chips to be installed in all Circle Gas meters. This partnership is part of Safaricom’s contribution to the global Sustainable Goals for economic growth, social-economic transformation, and development.

Live Planted is a weekly Podcast about living a practical vegan lifestyle.  Alyssa, the show's host, is a Midwestern girl who felt the need to create a space based on living a plant based life in the easiest way possible. The show goes into health, wellness, activism, environmentalism, cruelty free practices, sustainability, animal rights, and how to make it all work while living a 'regular' life. 

Live Planted aims to inspire and educate listeners by letting you in on a little secret: I don't have it all figured out either, but here are some things I've learned along the way.
