East Forest’s “immersive and vivid” (Wired) brand of music blends achingly emotional wordlessness, ambiance, and contemporary classical touches with a touch of pop sensibilities and electronic flavors that has garnered him appearances at SXSW, Grace Cathedral, Mysteryland, Gillette Stadium, Summit, Google, and even his own TED talk in 2015.  Based in Portland, Oregon, the music of East Forest (aka Trevor Oswalt) is a connected journey that’s been dubbed “a revelatory excursion in sound” (Under The Gun) that invites listeners to go on a “blissful” (NPR) journey of self discovery.
