@djredlion Started spinning Jungle records in 1998 as a then student of DJ's King Pin, Leroy Brown and Quartz who later, along with Red Lion, formed the Royal City Jungle Alliance or ROCJA. Also in 1998, he began working (alongside some close friends) for Toronto's Lifeforce Industries. Aiding in the promotion and production of such legendary Toronto events as Connected, Freakin', Bittersweet, W.E.M.F. Lifeforce Fridays, Turbo Fridays, I-Dance and of course the Dose and Syrous Anniversary parties.
As an added treat @djredlion & @beatkittymusic are both headlining the Alien Influx  NYE party in Toronto alongside our first YESYES Radio guest @dnb-remedy

The Librarian At Lighta Full Crew NYE 2023 - Village Studios

Krucial has always believed music to have no borders, but being a kid from Southern Alberta there certainly wasn’t much Dubstep or underground bass music presence in his life. Creating a community is something he cherishes deeply and is something he has always strived for. Having created connections with artists from all over the world, he has always had a deep love for the UK sounds and always will. This mix however has a splash of North American bass music that he believes stands up to the legendary sounds of the UK underground. Recorded live on Jan 28, 2023 at Dolly Disco in Vancouver.  This is the first time we've played an all night B2B together and it ended up being one of most fun times either of us have had DJing.  We played 6 hours from open to close. This recording captures the arch of energy throughout the night, the spontaneity of trading 3 for 3, the imperfections/perfections of a live set and connection between dance floor and DJ. J.F.Killah 🔥✨🔥 Audio Social Mix Series 025

Spring is in the air and this mix was inspired by the anticipation of festival season being just around the corner. This mix covers numerous genres with the thought of playing to a festival dance floor in mind. 

Jenn’s selections for this mix do not disappoint, they put you into an elated hyper state which we promise will get you excited for the magic in which festival season has in store for us. The Audio Social crew have been long-time fans of J.F.Killah, we have all thrown down at many of her sets and she played our favorite set of the summer last year at Shambhala. A fun fact about this selectress and producer is she grew up playing the piano and completed certification through the Royal Conservatory of Music. HOW COOL IS THAT?! Her being classically trained definitely translates into her mixes. Although Jenn is known to play dark and grime-y tunes, all of it is melodic, which blend flawlessly together. 

We have seen an evolution in J.F.Killah over the past few years. When she first started Djing she exclusively played Drum n Bass and Jungle, but her style has evolved to playing tons of genres. She credits this new evolution to being exposed to a wide variety of sounds while attending festivals and events and being inspired by other artists and producers. 

Jenn inspires us and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the festival scene this summer.
