With The Sonant' marks the fourth themed compilation from the label, stitching together a collectively hazy set of tracks yet each with their own vocal deviations.

Epoch’s long coveted ‘2-Door Subaru’ is the explosive opener, followed by two distinct approaches to trappier terrains via Woven Thorn’s ‘Loveless’ and ‘Try Me’ by zns before descending into the dub-diving murky waters of Soukah’s “Don’t Care”.

That’s how @vond describes his musical output. Surrounded by a diverse combination of inspiration, from jazz to hip-hop to jungle, he ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of influence which translates into his timeless productions.

Having collaborated with the biggest names of the genre and releasing on the very finest and most respected imprints of the genre, such as DEEP MEDi, Artikal Music UK, System Music & DUB STUY, Von D went on to become one of the artists who shaped the dubstep sound.
As a DJ he travelled far and wide, reaching Russia and Asia, travelling all over Europe, as well as touring twice in New Zealand and Australia and 8 times in the USA. He played legendary venues such as FWD at Plastic People and made countless guest appearances at Rinse.fm, carving a truly unique position in the underground bass scene.

Based out of anemkii-wiikwedong (otherwise known as Thunder Bay, ON), Rhombi serves up a smooth and eclectic mix of eyes-down, meditative selections as well as hard hitting system sounds. As co-founder of the Thunder Bay Bass Collective, Rhombi leads the next generation of underground artists who celebrate the history and future of sound system music. They're also a co-host on the Thunder Bay Bass Collective show on SUB.FM radio.

Rhombi is a strong advocate for harm reduction and addressing gender-based violence in the dance music community, with experience advocating for community safety and policy change. They have been featured by Sanctuary Radio and Mapped Out Radio CKCU 93.1 FM to speak on their perspectives on industry inclusion and harm reduction, and how this informs their artistry.

About the guests
Boneless is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada & has been producing and DJing since 2011.
His first prominent introduction to electronic
dance music was “Fabric Live” 37 by Caspa and Rusko, quickly leading tohis initial exploration of dubstep and soundsystem culture. Increasing hiscommitment to dubplate culture, he began cutting acetate dubplates of hisexclusive productions. Boneless has released on GourmetBeats, Off-Switch Audio, & LoDubs has forthcoming vinyl releases on more respected labels,as well as studio mixes on critically acclaimed dubstep labels/blogs Infernal Sounds, Trusik, & FatKidOnFire.
