As You Slowly Fade Away

This started with a very beautiful piano piece by Tom, then advanced by Jussi’s great electric guitar lead. I added an imagined lyric about someone not being able to commit to a relationship and the song was completed by Boon’s excellent acoustic guitar work. A nostalgic song of piano and strings setting a seen that is reflective, somber, and soothing.

Northern Lights Over Head

I recenty took this photo of  the W. 11th Street Pier, NYC looking over the Hudson River.  I was having dinner with my daughter a couple of blocks away,  and when we left the resaturant, we saw this amazing sunset.  I was so afraid, we would miss this moment.  We didn't.   It was a miraculous moment in time.  We both took many pictures and just watched as the sunset faded away.  Being with my daughter, and sharing these moments together,  I will never forget.  When I returned home to Massachusetts, I wrote this song.  I wanted to capture  capture my excitement and awe, but also the beauty and feeling of time passing in  front of my eyes!

Listen to this song in a quiet space. 
Music is the most beautiful way to pass the time, to dream and to breathe with the sounds, during this most  precioius time at this moment on this day of life.
