Chet Faker - Gold (Flume Re-work)

Back in March I was chosen to participate in a really cool project called Bait/Switch, an ever-evolving arts magazine dedicated to inspiring, connecting, and supporting people across creative disciplines. Basically it works like a game of telephone, but with ART! I was given a panel of four photographs, two weeks to compose a piece, and was encouraged to document my process (which was very enlightening haha). I came up with a piece called Here In This Place.

My song was then sent to a watercolor artist named Breanna Cee Martins (IG @prettyspookygirls). Here's the song, along with my interview with Lu Valena I plan on revisiting the song down the road and reimagining it, but I really love that it is unpolished! Thank you to Lu for the thoughtful interview, to Wendy Drexler who brought the wonderful project into my life (and has participated multiple times herself!) and for Bait/Switch for allowing me to be a part of this ongoing experience!
