II. Paradise Regained - Isaac Albéniz, Liza Lozica, Maurice Lammerts van Bueren

Hi! I'm Liza Lozica, a Dutch mezzo-soprano with a soft spot for music that feels honest, calm, and easy to sink into. After spending time on the opera stage (like at the Salzburg Festival and Dutch National Opera), I’ve started exploring a gentler sound—music that’s less about drama and more about space, stillness, and connection.

In 2024, pianist Maurice Lammerts van Bueren and I started our collaboration and released our single 'Paradise Regained'—a dreamy, stripped-back take on music by Isaac Albéniz. We wanted to make something that feels like a warm breeze: simple, soothing, and emotionally open. On the 22nd of June '25 we will release our EP, with an album following in the winter of '25. 

I’m drawn to a transparent sound—nothing too bombastic, just music that feels like it’s quietly keeping you company.
