This was a song my dear mum had written away back in the early 1970's.
It was recorded on a little cassette player in the farm's living room of a home my dad had built out of railroad ties. 
My dad was playing the harmonica - drums and all was added at the little farm studio - I call this Rawhide Western, because it is raw old time western music which I, up until my teens, played in our family band along with my mom, cousin and brother. My dad was our manager and handled most, if not all of our bookings. We played many a wedding/legion/family reunion and pub back in the day. This brings fond memories to my heart.

A White Heart cover song I sang for the Harmony of Hope at the Key City Theatre in Cranbrook back in 1997 with many other artists and vocal groups including Dean Brody. This was recorded when I was battling Multiple Myeloma bone marrow cancer - Originally done by the group White Heart. This song goes out to those battling cancer and those who feel they are going through a desert alone. You're not alone.
