Undoubtedly one of Melbourne's busiest DJ's with a formidable work ethic, Mz Rizk is renowned for her ongoing contributions to Melbourne’s rich cultural and music landscape, be it through frequent DJ spots, as a radio presenter for PBS FM, community workshops, you name it.

The Keep Diggin crew return to Section 8 on the 1st of November 2023 for the second edition of 1983 - an event celebrating 40 years of the sounds that shaped modern music!
With sets from Dj Keep Diggin, Lady Langers, Roar Medicine and Melburners you can expect a massive night of classic jams from the early 80s that set the soundtrack of the synth driven era.
Expect to hear a tight selection of post-disco, boogie, synth laden funk, go-go, electro, early house, modern funk and more!

Thursday night boogie infused 1st half then some deeper cuts in the second half. My first night playing and this fine venue with great sound and vibes.
