Musician, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, Savannah Collins, is a proud Namibian-born artist, with musical roots planted in rock ’n roll, country, folk & blues.
Combining her unique blend of genres, with vibrant acoustic guitar and rich, husky vocals, she creates a raw and powerful, original sound. After studying music, for 4 years in Cape Town, South Africa, she went on to record her 12-track, all original, debut album titled “Be Free”, in June 2016. With one of her singles, from the album, “Alone”, airing on radio stations in the U.S.A.
With over 10 years’ performing live as an acoustic artist, in Namibia, she has also toured and played in France, Mozambique, U.K and South Africa, for featured shows, and opened for international artists such as; Freshlyground, Prime Circle, Jo Black, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Andra and Arno Carstens.
Her musical accomplishments include; releasing her single “Said & Done” in 2017, writing the 2018 Gondwana Collection, hit song “Namibia My Friend”, to raise awareness for the wild horses of Namibia, featured as a model in the Mi Casa “Chucks” music video and sang with X-Factor Germany winner - EES, for his acoustic sessions, YouTube channel. She has also featured, as a lead guitarist, on multiple songs for local Namibian artists.
After winning 3 gold medals at the 2019 Namibia Championships of Performing Arts competition (for music and art), Savannah went on to became an official judge on the Voice of Namibia, for 2 years and founded/ created her own entertainment platform - The Coastal Talent Show, to promote up and coming Namibian talent. In early 2021 she opened her own, registered business and music school, for vocals guitar and theory of music - Songbird Vocal Studio, one of only 12 UNISA (University of South Africa) accredited institutions, in Namibia.
Savannah is also a proud brand ambassador for Graftobian Makeup Namibia, a cruelty-free makeup brand from America. Through this, she was proudly featured in issue 8 of Bows and Chic international online magazine for their edition - “Admiring Inspirational Women of 2022”.
