Bio:
DJ Tives is a confident musician, who has been DJing all over the UK and abroad for the past 8 years. He loves a good crowd, and loves to entertain the crowd even more.
He has found the best way to DJ is to give the people what they want, never believing in trying to educate the audience, just give them a good time with the music they want to hear, keeping the party going strong for several hours.
Tives started out old school with vinyl but have since moved onto CD decks, so is happy to work with either.

Tives plays all styles of music, although his speciality is Dance and Electronic music, and can keep the party going for hours on end.

	In the last three years Alastair Caplin has performed with the likes of Abigail Washburn, The Incredible String Band, Dave Swarbrick and Richard Thompson. He has accompanied singer/guitarist Alasdair Roberts on numerous tours and recorded two albums with him; ‘Too Long in this Condition’, released last year by Drag City, and an album of Gaelic song to be released on Drag City next year. The most recent projects Alastair was involved in was recording the solo fiddle music for the film 'Burke &amp; Hare' with Simon Pegg and Bill Bailey, and writing and performing the live score for the Gaelic play Roghainn nan Daoine.
