Dean grew up listening to his older brothers passion for disco the likes of Candido, Jellybean, with the infectious percussive grooves was drawn to playing bongos at a very early age and then studied at Drumtech Academy London in his 20’s, and so the journey began.
Being spotted playing in a club in Soho London by Jay Kay (Jamiroquai front man) from that chance meeting he was then mentored by Jamiroquai percussionist Sola Akingbola.
Plus various recording sessions at the infamous Abbey Road studios,
Coming from a very strong musical family background, his great aunt being one of the founders of electronic music with her Oramics machine on show at London’s natural history museum.

Dean’s Inspired by the likes of Mark Knight, Hot Since 82, Nick Warren, Solomun, Hot Chip, Miguel Migs, & adds his very own percussive free style flavour complimenting tracks in his sets.

His experience on the worldwide live stage is extensive…
In 2007 Ministry Of Sound events director Phil Faversham saw Deans energetic set at Pacha London and was signed to Ministry of Sound UK within a month.

From 2007-2015 headlining events all over the world for Ministry Of Sound & Hed Kandi playing Percussion alongside Djs at the biggest and best venues including six years on the island of ibiza Alongside Lovely Laura, they captivated the crowds free styling over the Dj sets, weekly events at Space, Es Paradis, Cafe Del Mar, Savannah, Eden, Cafe Mambo and worldwide events including Miami Winter Music Conference, ADE Amsterdam, Creamfield’s Festival, Global Gathering, Cocoon Frankfurt,  


With a passion for House music and playing live percussion it was a natural move in 2013 to start a Dj career by 2015 mixing tunes and playing live drums at the same time…
