Once upon a time at Kyiv’s infamous @ White Tower… I’d been spiraling and fading for God knows how many days, when I somehow managed to combine a few ancient guitar amps (from the forsaken rehearsal studio) into a minimal-tekno-bass sonic system. With no time to waste after all the hassle, this improvisation took place without any preparation whatsoever. So expect everything — phase issues, constant substance-abuse breaks, people poking me, or simply asking for a chit-chat while I was at it.

Some of the witnesses to this day believe that I had just turned on someone else’s DJ set and acted like I was doing something over my laptop, with xxx aux cables running into a cursed splitter and straight into the amps…

Sobriety has changed my life for good — and it can change yours too. And if you’re still “there,” keep fighting. We’ve got each and every one of us here for you.

p.s.

Presumably, this should be the “hottest” cut of that performance — an ode to grim, yet crazy and fun times. And I’m glad those days are over. Letting this recording go, to become another nail in that coffin.
