This song began when Sean, who is a superb writer of catchy pop songs, was inspired by the classic surfer movie, The Endless Summer. He wrote it on his acoustic guitar with a mind to sharing it with Eclectic Collective. He first shared it with Ken, who promptly provided driving drums and invited the rest of us to play on it, too. Josh hopped on first, adding his bass and completing the rhythm section.
  About this time, Tez got involved, laying down the Ventures-esque melodic electric guitar you hear throughout. Right after Tez did his thing, Stephen came along soon after and completed the lead part with his fuzzy, adventurous guitar. 
  At this point, it still felt very stringy, so Josh decided to lay down the organ part you hear in there, too. Once it was cooked, we tapped Stephen to do his expert brand of production, mix, and mastering to get it ready to serve. 
  This is the second time Ken and Josh have collaborated with Sean, the first being almost two years ago on a song called Diamond Marigold. When Sean approached Ken with a second song, not only Ken was thrilled, but Josh and the rest of the gang were, too. Sean has a lot of great, catchy, accessible music on his page that is all worth putting in your ears.
  We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Born Roseth Mary Cribben, But known as Rosette Cribben & RM Cribben Also go by the name “FUTURE GENERATE” I am from the UK, currently living in Nottingham UK. I like to consider myself as a songwriter first. I very much enjoy creating/ writing / composing producing all my original songs to what pops up in my head...I love & appreciate all song genres,  from sunny dance vibes, to happy motivation songs, I even have a few moody blue, sad songs with a little attitude. I really like to create all styles of songs...to whatever comes to mind!  Mostly, from a word logo. I have no specific song genres preference.  I love all music sounds...anything creative...quirky, happy or fun. To me music has no age limit or barriers, you either like it or you don't....Hoping you like my kind of songs...& instrumentals. Proficient performer of piano, bass guitar, double bass, cello, 6 string , 12 string , drums, triangle (shall I include tambourine too?🤣), vocals, lyrics. 99% of the tracks on this page are original songs. None of my performances on any of my tracks, whether solo work, or collaboration, have any editing whatsoever. Effects and equalization? Of course! But no editing, no software, etc. Quite a substantial amount of these tracks are with The Eclectic Collective. We are like family and have been playing together on a daily basis since approximately March of 2022 as the Eclectic Collective. Before the band bore it's name Eclectic Collective; Josh, Ken, Stephen, Tez, and  CG Maness were doing some occasional collabs. At any given time we are all simultaneously working on about 15 different songs. And when we feel they are done cooking in the oven we release them.  We release a song every week on Fridays at 4AM UTC

Songs for Social Change

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to listen.  
My name is Johnny, a lifelong musician and songwriter whose work is deeply rooted in the pursuit of justice, equality, and meaningful change. For as long as I can remember, music has been my voice, my weapon, and my sanctuary—a way to channel the frustrations, hopes, and dreams of a world in turmoil.  

My songs are a reflection of the turbulent times in which we live. They are anthems for the marginalized, the oppressed, and the forgotten—those who bear the weight of systemic inequality, poverty, and injustice. Through my music, I aim to amplify the voices of minorities, the poor, the sick, and the downtrodden, shining a light on the struggles they endure in a society that often turns a blind eye.  

At the heart of my work is a call to resist the oppressive grip of the billionaire class, whose unchecked power and greed have eroded the foundations of our democracy. My lyrics are a rallying cry, urging listeners to awaken to the realities of our world, to challenge the status quo, and to fight for a future where equity and justice are not just ideals, but realities.  

But my music is not just a critique of what is wrong—it is also a beacon of hope. I strive to inspire others to join the fight, to look in the mirror and confront the uncomfortable truths of our nation’s bloody history. Only by acknowledging the past can we begin to heal and move forward. My songs are a tribute to the dreamers and the activists who came before us, and a call to carry their torch into the future.  

Above all, I seek to honor the vision of John Lennon and countless others who dared to imagine a world of peace, love, and unity. Through my music, I hope to contribute to that vision.
