So cool....this is actually closer to the Neil Diamond version (he wrote the song) than the Monkees, except with the added BUMPIN' Kinks-like fuzz guitar. I bet Neil woul have liked this one better than the Monkees take.

Thank you all for your wonderful feedback on the tracks I have posted from my current album “Focal”. I’ve enjoyed sharing them and reading your comments. Other than the remix I did for “All Kinds of Wonder”, this is actually my first track for 2023.
It’s a familiar style from M.E.
