Composition – The Eclectic Collective

This song began about half a year ago, as part of a three song set that Ken started with some really cool beats. Josh was first to the trough for here, laying in his fretless bass groove to complete the foundation and give it some tonal direction. Stephen came next and laid in the really trippy textural guitar that you hear throughout. JJ was next with his serious, no joke organ playing, which sets the mood for the whole thing. Last, but not least, Tez joined by adding some really cool accent guitar throughout.
  Of course, every great song needs a great producer, so we tapped Stephen to do the honors on this.
  We had originally made this and the other two songs with the intention of having The Mysterious Decibel and his friend Modes About Me sing on them. However, life got in the way, so we sat on them. Finally, MD let us know that he wasn't able to complete the project with us, much to everyone's, including his, disappointment. However, MD did lay down a rough vocal demo for us, which Stephen very ably processed to sound almost like another instrument in there. So, we're releasing this song as a tribute to them both, with gratitude, especially to MD for all the great work he's put in with us. If you're not familiar with either of them, do yourself a favor and check them out.   This is an example of what it sounds like when the whole band composes a song together. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

I like listening to music, making simple, tunes when I have time, and generally faffing about in an inefficient manner. Hopefully you might like something on offer here. 

I use a Hinkler Cigar Box guitar (about $30 from Aldi, great fun), a Flying V ukulele, a couple of old keyboards, other bits and bobs, and a Yamaha tenor saxophone.

No AI is used to generate sounds whilst journeying on these cacophonic adventures.

ZARINE (Dj Zarine) is one of the drum & bass DJs and producers whose work has brought considerable popularity to this style.
Starting his career in 97, he started promoting the Jump Up style in Russia. This always positive and open person still carries the culture of broken rhythms to the masses.

He received a classical music education. He studied conducting. He also plays guitar (played death metal, hardcore, techno death, was a session guitarist.) Sound engineer, worked with many well-known musicians, both foreign (Henry Rollins Band, Young Gods, Braut schlägt im Auge), and Russian, such as: the King and the Jester, Bricks, Torba-na-Kruche, Nom, TV, Calibri, Two Planes, Brigade row, Spitfire, and others.

His creative pseudonym, the female name ZARINE, owes his love for decadence, and the eponymous name of one of his projects-ZARINE (sarin) with the crossed-out letter " E " at the end. In 1996, after playing his first ever set at the CLEO club, he decided to keep the name.

The first single, "DnB Wize", was recorded in 1999 and released as a compilation album on a no-longer-existing foreign label. This was followed by releases - "Drunk n Bass" and "Art Core", "Eazy Drums" - released on the now-defunct KDK records 

Later there were releases on "Dj Parade", "World of the Drum n bass" - Dj SS took the single "GO ON" recorded together with Liza K. Audio design of the magazine "SPB. RU". Release of the album "Leading the rats". Working with Goldie, Aphrodite.

To date, singles have been released on Italian, French, German, and English labels.
