Steinway piano gadget
M1 synth for soft bells
Polysix Synth for bass
a gadget called Berlin for the lead solo
and a sampler gadget called Bildao for the drums, it lets you import your own drums but i stayed on one of the stock presets
Also the Modules gadget for electric git and vibraphone
I couldnt resist ending the track with my signature sustainpedal hold ;))

Can we turn the tide?

There are many versions and different traditions of the story of the Magi and about their journey. And about their origin. Pictured on the cover is a drawing found in the 'Catalan Atlas,' a map of the world dated to the late 14th century. Pictured here are the three kings. The caption reads: “This province is called Tarshish, from which came the Three Wise Kings, and they came to Bethlehem in Judaea with their gifts and worshipped Jesus Christ, and they are entombed in the city of Cologne two days journey from Bruges.”
But where was the city (or the country) called Tarshish (Tarsis, Tharsis), whose king was already mentioned in Psalm 72?
No one, exactly, knows.

I recorded the guitar part in 2018, when bought a Guild (my Washburn had become mute ...), so the track has a lot of noise and imperfections. Then there were several attempts to organize the piece and arrange it. This could be the last one. It came rather long and slow. But long and slow was also that improbable (and hardly true) journey - perhaps one could imagine it by closing the eyes and listening to the music.

I don't usually sing rhythmic songs, but I like Rock, especially these 2 Elvis songs.
It's just a little nod to my big brother Phi Van who moved back to Laos. He sang them very well.
This song was arranged in January 2013. I sang it for the first time in 2018 at a birthday party... I didn't think it was hard enough to sing, plus the tempo is very fast. (I suspect my arranger of speeding up the tempo to boost me😒😩). I had a hard time finishing the Teddy Bear song. 😁 Just for fun ! 😊__________________________________________________________________
