Insatiable Influence #1

This miniature for strings and piano, was written for my sister who celebrated her birthday recently. It is in a neo-romantic style, possibly reminiscent of the 1940s. The contrabass is largely absent, as I felt it didn't suit the piece - not that I have anything the mighty string member!

Reminds me of an early group I played bass with. One played a PortaB3 Organ
Loved this piece and after a few listens I picked up my bass to jam along.
Knew right away I wanted to express what I was hearing, after trying put it in a comment I checked the (...more) and spilt my drink when I saw I was able to DL.
Cleaned up(myself) and found the tempo.  
Because of the title I thought it best to wait till Sunday morning and record. 
Woke up made coffee and recorded a bass track, and a light rhythm guitar track. Finally I did a take to add onto the melody but hopefully not over it.
Did some drums as close to the original to balance it and small percussions added in honor of the first track of Lovvarion's I heard and that made me go back to check his site .https://soundcloud.com/lovvarion

It sprang out of one of our interchanges in relation to another track.
The lyric is full on nonsense in the tradition of Edward Lear/ Lewis Carrol, but contains a story within.
We had fun, hope you like it

Garddwr Porffor responsible for the lyric, vocal, strawberry flutes, sheep, monsters, mix and master
