New here, but every now and then I will post guitar playing and music made by me.

It was 1993. You were there. sweating in a mid-atlantic warehouse, it was dark, crowded, throbbing, and new. The internet was just starting up. DJs were mysterious; the tracks they played invoked euphoria. You danced near the subs so you could embody every bass hit.

It is 2024. You are here. Whether you were there or not for the decades before, rave transcends, evolves, thrives. 

Our prompt for this mix series is simple: we ask DJs for their unique interpretation of early rave based on memory or fantasy.
