MRKO is an LA based producer and DJ who’s sound spans from Progressive House to Nu Disco. At an early age he fell in love with The Police, James Brown and Parliament Funkadelic, but later made the switch to electronic music after discovering Blog House artists such as MSTRKRFT, Justice and The Bloody Beetroots. Previously he toured under the moniker Materializer including a performance at South by Southwest. MRKO’s latest productions draw inspiration from Lane 8, Camelphat, Gorgon City, Disclosure and Kasablanca.
