Close neighbors Cliff and Lloyd are producing electro in a galaxy far away and they decided to team up and melt their diodes in style. Upon playing at Burial Soil at Suicide Club Berlin, DJ BONEY S checked out the other acts on the line up. One of them was Leipzig based Friedrich Ernst, founder of the vinyl label Self Learning System. They started talking, met at the party, she got some records from his label and became an instant fan. They kept in touch and this podcast is the result of that all. Enjoy Friedrichs set and the mood he created with it!

Bio: 
Friedrich Ernst spins electro, breakbeat and UK bleep records. He is the founder of the record label Self Learning System as well as the "Popular Problems" event series together with his partner in crime DJ Unisex. They are also transmitting a residency show called "Intergalactic Rhythms" via Callshop Radio. 
Recently he made some waves with vinyl releases on his own label and tracks on compilations by F.T.P, Ovelha Trax & Defrostatica. His tracks are being played by Sedeff Adasi, SNC Crew, Burial Soil, Viikatory and Millium to name a few. 
This year he is focusing again on his live performance with high energy breakbeat music and you should keep your eyes and ears pealed for what is to comes next.

For our final release of 2022, we return to an old friend to see us out in style. L/F/D/M has previously dropped a cassette EP of tough Electro steppers and an album of Acid hardware jams on Beat Concern, but refuses to repeat himself with this 'Quasi-Modo' EP. These 4 tracks highlight the ever present influence of the hardcore rave continuum to L/F/D/M’s phenomenal output to date.

These tracks nod to that special 1992 period of hardcore, more so than any of L/F/D/M’s other hardcore releases but remain in that ‘meta-state’ of being aware of subsequent genre advancements post ’92 (where were you?)

However, these tracks (or trax?) highlight a pure love for the naivety of the pre-Jungle hardcore period. Breaks prevail, bass is weighty and the stabs hit heavy.

While Fantazia famously took us into 1992(gether), Beat Concern will take you out of 2022 like you were dancing in a field off the M25 30 years ago.

Step into the world of Lloyd Stellar, the Dutch electro producer (Erik Griffioen) behind the machine-like beats, floaty pads and vocoder-driven vocals. Lloyd's music delves into the unknown, exploring futuristic, occult and dystopian themes like the consequences of man's greed and the relationship between humans and machines.

In addition to his studio recordings, Lloyd Stellar also gives live performances with his modular synthesizers, blending pulsating electro rhythms, adding another layer to the experience.
