Spanish-bilingual,  vocalist, composer, lyricist and entertainer Nicole Patrice is a native Chicagoan who taught herself music beyond absorbing the musical influences of her father, a classically-trained drummer and composer.  Initially, not settled on music as a career, she continued to search for a not only direction but even a literal home.  This struggle in the streets of Chicago edified her commitment to speaking out for those like her whose voices go unheard.

Influenced by The Isley Brothers, Anita Baker, Sarah Vaughn, Celia Cruz, Curtis Mayfield, Missy Elliot, and many others her music easily moves around and past borders. I make one-shot improvised "songs" that are composed, performed, recorded and mixed in one sitting--except that once. One of my mates described it as making a soundtrack for my day and I liked that Idea and stole it. Mostly though it's a way to have a larger expression of music than just jamming solos endlessly in my home studio and having a one person wank fest. These are multi-tracked wank fests! Clearly superior in every way. That "once" took two sitting--shame on me--but the song turned some eight or nine minutes long and has a dozen or two layered guitars... what was I supposed to do? *shrugs*
