The fun family vibe of the Dirtybird label can be traced back to a free event started in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. This new kind of house music went against the smooth vocal house that was popular at the time and derived its influences mostly from hip-hop, drum n bass, and American funk. The free outdoor BBQ party was very rough around the edges but eventually became legendary amongst the people of San Francisco. This event was also a very influential factor in the decision by Claude VonStroke to start the record label in 2005.

Today, Dirtybird has offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles and has expanded into events and tour production. As it grows, the brand continues to expand beyond music into merchandise, licensing and artist management. In 2015, Dirtybird launched the inaugural Dirtybird Campout festival, which has been dubbed “Summer Camp For Adults”, and Dirtybird has been recognized from their achievements by being awarded "Underground Label of the Year" at the International Dance Music Awards, “Label of the Decade” by Mixmag, “Best North American Label” by DJ Mag, and Billboard’s "Top 5 Independent Dance Labels".

Hybrid are Mike & Charlotte Truman who have gained international acclaim for their combination contemporary electronic music with enveloping orchestral scores and soundscapes. Hybrid's first artist album ‘Wide Angle’ in 1999 was considered to be ground breaking in fusing modern production with performances from the Russian Federal Orchestra. They have written a further three artist albums, toured around many of the world’s most iconic music venues and festivals and have remixed artists as diverse as New Order, Radiohead, UNKLE, Alanis Morrisette, Jean Michelle Jarre, Moby, Future Sound Of London and The Orb.

A natural progression from their orchestral heavy albums inevitably led them into film scoring and they have recently composed the soundtrack for Jim Gillespie’s forthcoming thriller Take Down, Sony’s PS4 worldwide #1 Driveclub, Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier and the Bruce Willis sci-fi thriller, Vice. Hybrid have worked extensively throughout the film music industry on many titles including Hercules, The Equalizer, Total Recall and The Fast & Furious franchise.

Their heavyweight combination of soaring orchestration and cutting edge production has kept them in demand amongst a growing number of film makers which will shortly include a complete music preparation and score for John Stephenson's Interlude In Prague. Over the course of the last three plus decades, the German born DJ, musician and composer Marc Romboy has become synonymous with a soulful electronic music sound that has taken him all over the world. As well as releasing on only the most influential labels, from Innervisions to Cocoon and Kompakt to Senso Sounds, he is also the sole mastermind behind the influential Systematic Recordings label and has been since 2004.

Nowadays an album specialist, 2006 saw him release his debut album, the captivating „Gemini" whilst in 2017 Marc released his first listening long player called „Voyage de la planète“, a pure electronica album with classical music influence and later, in summer 2017 the live recording of his collaboration with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra called „Reconstructing Debussy“, in cooperation with Boiler Room hit the stores.

Despite being a key player for so long, Marc is still as relevant as ever and remains right at the sharp end of electronic music. Proof of that comes in the form of his DJ schedule, which takes him from Fabric to Womb and Berghain to Rex, as well as to not one but three separate Boiler Room shows. All three proved Marc to be a dexterous performer who never relies on obviousness or gimmicks, instead telling truly musical stories that place dancers right at the heart of the action.

Justin Scott Dixon, better known by his stage name Voyager, is a seminal figure in the evolution of Electronic Dance Music (EDM).
