YUNG WHUUP was born Dillon Candelaria in 1993. In his adolescence he played guitar and produced for local artists. He began releasing music around 2019, taking notes from his childhood influences from heavy metal, SoundCloud Era artists, and the west coast hiphop scene. He started out using the moniker F1LTHY THA K1D but changed it to YUNG WHUUP in 2020 during the pandemic. 

As his popularity continues to grow, YUNG WHUUP is releasing a new single every Friday for the year of 2023. In pursuit of gaining interest from developed artists, Music labels, & music festivals.
