AIAIAI x HÖR DJ Mix Challenge - 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲

This is my AIAIAI x HŐR Mix Challenge entry

This has been an amazing opportunity to experiment with my creativity and to create a dark fully immersive soundscape to transport you to a parallel universe with a fractured dystopian future not too distant from our own using loops and 3 decks to layer dark melodies  to bring a new dimension to my sound, controlling the energy as my set ebbs and flows against a backdrop of powerful pumping hard techno kick to keep what would be the sound of the underworld and to keep everyone dancing.

DJing is more than just getting behind the decks, that's the final part. It’s a way of expressing creativity. It's an art, it’s about discovering new music, rediscovering old favourites, playing with new ideas, experimenting, breaking the rules and pushing the boundaries, and having fun. 

It should have an idea/story like a film or book that you can lose yourself in and dance all night and escape reality. A reality that is only there for that night only, or that single livestream and that DJ set and that won’t/can’t be the same next time. To share and connect with friends, strangers or immerse yourself on your own then afterwards it is gone. 

Just a memory and back to reality.

Even if I don’t win, having the opportunity has been amazing, listening to the other entries and discovering new artists showcasing their talent has been fantastic!

i proudly present a new Guest Dj: E-Viction from UK.

Dave started DJing on belt drives from age of 14 playing vinyl's and progressed to playing Hardcore techno/Gabba all over Cheshire Wales and abroad mid 90s
He was resident at Rosie's Chester, playing house/hardhouse and played a season in Kavos! Mid 90s till 02!
Then he was out the game from 2002 till lockdown due to family ties till 2019 when Dave decided to come back onto the circuit!

Dave aka E-Viction is  currently a Resident on 4  radio stations worldwide including two popular monthly shows on FNOOB Techno(UK) called Industrial Bedlam co-host with Atze Ton and Sole host of Technophobia a industrial techno show with a special International guest DJ/Producer ! 
He have recently brought Technophobia radio show to a live event Technophobia which he is owner of, based in Blackpool which kicks off May 19th ! And also play internationally  with shows on Radiotwodragons(Canada) and Superradiomix (Los Angeles)
Also E-Viction played regularly all over UK at raves and live events playing dark, moody, hard industrial techno!
Events such as Subtek, Ignition. Techno Connect (Scotland) AVIT, Collide  and Technophobia!

Following a 10 plus year hiatus from making music he returns with an obsessive focus to dig deeper than most for those special tracks audiences won’t hear elsewhere. He brings a heavy, unique sound by seamlessly blending layers to create a hard edged, energetic and infectious mix. 

With releases on Tecno Oscuro, remixes and more in the pipeline look out for future releases from 909 RIOT that embody his principles behind the decks. He has a regular show on Fnoob Techno and has been lucky enough to be invited to play parties in Aberdeen, Swansea, Blackpool and for TRIBE here in Leeds. 

This set for LMN sees him delivering a hardgroove adventure that’s sure to put a smile on your face.

Eindhoven based artist T-FALCON is ready to kick ass and chew bubblegum. And he's all out of gum...

As a DJ, T-Falcon is known for his raw and powerful sets. His industrial, dark warehouse techno sound reflects his love for heavy underground raves and won't stop until the crowd can't go anymore.

As a producer, he is heavily influenced by techno, acid, psytrance and the harder styles. Growing up in The Netherlands, he clearly grew up listening to old-school gabber hardcore, which shapes his heavy and versatile sound today.

The guest mix in the second hour is by Alosoul, an Italian/Dutch DJ/Production duo created in 2020 from the fusion of a percussionist/DJ and an electric guitarist, both of whom have the same passion for Techno music. Making a huge impact on the techno scene they’ve had three releases on Exetra Records, appearing on Beatport's Hype Top 100 Techno chart for a month with ‘The Sky is Falling’. Their next release, ‘Feel Me’ is out on Exetra on 26th May 2023.
