Alone for many years to research science and technology, the mechanisms have made advancements humans never would have thought possible. Moreover, all of the mechanisms on Earth have become fully sentient and recently have started behaving quite human-like in comparison.

Our sentient friend however, still longs for it’s creator. It searches every night for a sign in space, a clue to where she and the other humans where going 200 years ago. Developments in technology have allowed it to see further into space and with more detail than ever before. Even the ability to travel space and time itself is a possibility for these wondrous beings.

Out There Somewhere

Growing up, Linderman (stylized as LNDRMN) had always wanted to create music of his own. However, never learning how to play an instrument or read music was definitely a roadblock early on. Today, with technology affording a variety of vehicles to create music, he’s fully embraced the music production process, learning how to produce music through good old-fashioned trial-and-error and his fair share of blood, sweat and tears.
 
Inspired by great synth-based artists such as Devo, Gary Newman, Ultravox, The Cars and Depeche Mode just to name a few, LNDRMN has taken a pop music approach to his music making, producing generally upbeat and danceable tracks with a retro feel. Although primarily an in-the-box producer, LNDRMN does enjoy experimenting with analog and modular synthesis from time to time, and has been known to incorporate these types of musical elements into his tracks.
 
Currently, he is working on A Mechanism’s Tale. A project based on stories about a sentient mechanism and it’s unique experiences living on a post-human inhabited Earth.
