JustDave is a one man band based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who creates a unique blend of music combining elements of rock, pop, electronic, funk, blues, house and techno. JustDave is the alias of 43 year old musician Dave Mackenzie, who has been playing and composing music for over 20 years. 
Dave has played numerous instruments since he was a child, and as an adult has focused on guitar, piano, singing, and electronic instruments like drum machines, sequences, synthesizers, and loopers. He creates an array of tracks by himself, as if a small orchestra was present in the room. In addition to creating his own original music, Dave is known for his impressive covers of existing songs replicating the sounds of the original artists, while also adding in his own unique flair. Dave Mackenzie as JustDave brings a unique and eclectic sound that can’t be found anywhere else.
