Laconia features collaborations with fellow producers Cioz and Cook Strummer, as well as a special apparition by Sam’s paternal figure playing the Oud on Mirage. The tracks explore a diverse array of dispositions, from groovy up-warmers such as Mangata or Louna to more lively dancefloor aggregators such as Kamala Bani, on to the deeply polarizing, whirlwind synth dinger Guz or the more experimental self-evident Not Much To Say.

A novel detail makes an appearance on Je te vois, an acoustic electronic dance number with poetic lyrics tenderly sung in French for the first time. The artist’s romantic side also shows through the mystical elements interspersed throughout, from the spellbinding Encanto to the dreamy soundscapes of Atreyu, named after the famous German fantasy book character.

Thanks to a modest key riff and more cosmic effects, Aubade lends its meaning of “greeting in the sun” to the atmosphere, rounding off the release on an incandescent note.

Sitting right between band and machine-made music, the two siblings @moetmoi draw their intriguing catchiness from two different sources. There’s the repetitive bang of the kickdrum that triggers an instant urge to move - which again triggers an instant feeling of bliss and well-being. And there’s the hand-played vibe of their music that wraps around the dancing soul like a warm scarf. The omnipresent, yet subtle voice of singer Clara hovers between the meditative ringing of "The Deep Heart’s Core" and the guitar-lead narrative of "Dream" that somehow resembles the showdown scene of a Western. The French live duo have been bubbling up for a while, so no surprise that their recent live stream has had 102K views to date and rising. Fundraising for Bye Bye Plastic, performed at a mysterious UNESCO site in France, the stream delivered spectacularly compelling material and a sincere yet effortlessly cool vibe.

Tim and Pierre met in high school in the French countryside, and fast became friends when they discovered their shared love for music. Their first ‘gig’ was at their end-of-school gala, and they have been playing together ever since at festivals and gigs worldwide. Labels include Flying Circus, Sol Selectas and ABRACADABRA.

This release package is a special one, as Kindisch gave their new signing carte blanche to choose their ideal remixers to complement their original and yet make it their own. Enter Maga and Carlita…

Title track ‘Wonderland’ is a compulsively catchy combo of skiffle-style percussion and a relentless plucked guitar riff. Chambord’s own vocal contribution adds a robotic hook.

Maga brings bongo drums to the fore, a humming bass riff sprinkled with tinkling icicles and a chopped-off vocal. He creates an ominous build, with some surprising strings. Carlita delivers a strong mix of deep, deep bass and percussion backed by melodic synth riffs, enriching the hypnotic quality of the vocal, and upping the tempo in the second half.

The history of the DJ & producer duo and couple Local Suicide stretches back over a decade to the year 2008. Since meeting, Munich-born Brax Moody and Thessaloniki native Vamparela have collaborated together on various projects, all culminating in the conception of Local Suicide in Berlin. Local Suicide’s distinctive sound, is an energetic fusion of new wave, EBM, post disco and dark techno that they themselves have given the name technodisco, while Beatport declared them as one of the key figures in the uprising dark disco scene.

Their DJ career has carried them to all four corners of the world, whipping crowds into a frenzy at Lollapalooza, Melt!, ADE, Off Sonar, Festival Forte, Berlin Festival and almost every club the German capital has to offer. Their live cuts have been honed to perfection with years of shows alongside the very best in the scene, even being invited by New Order to warm up for their live performance. This hectic schedule has taken them across Europe, Asia, North Africa, South America and the United States.

Local Suicide has had a stunning amount of press coverage from leading mags like DJ Mag UK/IT/US/LA/ES, Mixmag, FAZE, Groove, TRAX, Time Out, Tsugi, XLR8R & Rolling Stone and has played themselves in Fett & Fett, a series broadcasted on the biggest german national TV station ZDF in which their musical productions were featured extensively as well.

In 2021 the powerhouse launched their own label Iptamenos Discos where they recently released their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Eros Anikate’ among others. In 2022 the duo also revealed their new live band project Dina Summer with Kalipo with which they released their debut album ‘Rimini’ on Audiolith Records.
