It’s been a real long while since DSC released an EP on Holding Hands and we are very happy he is back on home turf.

The EP has some electro flavours from me on the first two tracks and then a heavy 2- step number for the third. The fourth track is a remix from Sid Angel and it came about from a remix competition that DSC ran last year. There was a ton of entries but he loved this one the most as it took things in a totally different direction. This will be Sid Angel’s first release and it’s got a super nice feel to it. Big things coming in the future from him.

With a sound that often leans towards the UK underground, we thought that we should enlist one of envee's (and our's) fave producers to remix his new Local Talk release.Manchester's finest Zed Bias.

We asked Zed to give us that deep, soulful 2-Step rub but with a slight jazz edge and boy did he deliver. It's proper UK deep UK 2-step / garage that will work in any (!) decent club.yup it's that good.

'Coming From The Deep' EP by Munky Fike is the latest release from GLBDOM's sub-label GLBDOM Classic, and is a masterclass in elegant, retro house sounds for the modern, twenty-first century dance floor. Comprised of four tracks, Munky Fike gets things started with the eponymous 'Coming From The Deep', a simple yet powerful track featuring uplifting pads and a super catchy bassline, embellished with subtle touches of 303 and emotive sax refrains. Up next is 'Freak Me' which, as the name suggests, has a more energetic and frenetic vibe. Tibi Dabo returns to Crosstown Rebels with his second EP of the year The Distance We Share. His third EP will follow in the Autumn in advance of his debut album forthcoming in 2021. Globally revered American producer David Morales turns in two outstanding remixes that demonstrate contrasting aspects of his illustrious career.

The Distance We Share sees beautiful melodies standing both individually and combined to create an ethereal atmosphere. Starting with golden keys that drop into a twinkling lullaby, rising and falling throughout the track before ending with danceable energy. Komorebi opens with melancholic chords, the bassline moves at a relaxed pace over a rhythm of hi-hats and cowbell, sensual distorted vocals and delicate chimes induce a feeling of romance. The first remix of Komorebi from David Morales sees him add his legendary Red Zone stamp of New York influenced house music, building tension with darker tones, chugging percussion and hypnotic loops. On the Diridim Mix Morales turns the vibe to that of his newest label, with classic soulful electronics adding a deep sense of warmth.

Still in its infancy, the Tibi Dabo project from Max Guardans has seen his unique emotive take on electronic music and sound design catch the attention of influential figureheads. His debut release the Ende EP on Sasha's Last Night on Earth imprint demonstrating his remarkable talent. With his determined attitude and unrelenting thirst for exploration impressing respected tastemaker Damian Lazarus, he was immediately signed to Crosstown Rebels. His last two EP’s Her Moon and Disbelieve on the imprint, initiating a run of unrelenting form that marks the start of big things to come.
